Springtime ☀️

Out of office ☀️

So this morning as I was putting these up, I thought I set everything up properly. I was really going to take my time with this and do a great job. And then my drill bit wasn’t long enough so my drill wouldn’t actually drive the screws into the wall. I got so down in the dumps, and felt really tempted to just scrap it altogether because I couldn’t do it. If this was even a year ago, I might have. My brain likes to spiral so not having the right tool for the job - in a bad moment - can make it seem like everything will go wrong from that point on. It seems really silly looking back on this morning like this (they’re just a set of shelves with two screws needed each) but I think they look great and I’m happy that I’ve grown a little bit more. So basically, we can all do hard things. Even if in the moment, your hard thing is hanging bookshelves 😂 #getafterit
