Hey! It’s been a cool two months since I last put anything on here!
Does anyone else ever start up projects with the best intentions and then, slowly, it s t a r t s s l i p p i n g a w a y f r o m y o u ?
Yeah, me too. I’m not sure, frankly, how you can be human and not have had this happen.
I used to write all the time when I was younger, and I guess I’ve just tended to let life get in the way the past few months. Also, I’m honestly more present over on Instagram due to the platform being a little more quick and “snapshot” friendly. However, a lot of things have happened in the past few months as well!
Such as…travel! I’m actually in the Czech Republic right now, mainly visiting family. I’d like to rent a car in the next week or two and do some traveling in the countryside as well. “How is this possible?” you may ask, due to travel restrictions and safety in the world today — I’m actually a dual citizen. I am also not a big night life/city person either, so I was always planning a pretty low key trip should I go anywhere anyway. Also, masks. Always.
Also, a really big change on the home front made such a long trip possible as well — I quit my job! Yep. If you’re new here, I’m an RN BSN. I was working for a hospital on a floor and decided that I needed a change. I’m currently scouting for jobs in between time with relatives and homework (MBA is still going strong), wish me luck!
I’ll be taking a lot of photos on my trip so I’ll be able to share them here once I compile them together. If anyone has any recommendations for the Czech countryside, leave a comment!
